Summary:
MathWorks China is seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist for 9-month timeframe to support plan, manage, implement, and evaluate marketing programs across multiple industries and application areas.
Role & responsibilities:
Support to successfully develop and implement a plan that includes a mix of traditional and emerging lead generating activities and methods ensuring consistent lead and sales opportunity generation throughout the year
Conferences, tradeshows, seminars, workshops, webinars: assume the responsibilities to support from pre-event, onsite to post-event. Tasks include: manage local promotion, partner invitation, vendor management, venue set-up, creatives development, RSVP, logistics, lead submission and post-event processes. Manage proper allocation and utilization of international resources being leveraged in support of events.
Localization and validation of technical content
Support management of digital tactics, such as email marketing, community maintenance, etc.
Support regular market research projects
Work closely with Marketing Support team in Natick, and local AE and Sales team under the instruction by program owner in Marketing team
Additional qualifications:
Marcomm experience - seminars, trade shows, PR, Web marketing
3+ years’ experience in B2B or high-tech marketing (software industry experience desirable)
Track record of successfully planning, execution and measuring the effectiveness of various types of events or other leads generation programs
Strong English verbal and written communication skills required
Solid organizational and project management skills
Strong team player
